Campgrounds

The Cheyenne-Laramie County Board of Health adopted the Cheyenne-Laramie County Campground Regulations in 2009. Environmental Health licenses and inspects permanent and temporary campgrounds in Laramie County under these regulations. Inspectors look at a camp's overall sanitation and safety which include: potable water supplies, proper sewage, wastewater, and refuse disposal; spacing between units; restroom and shower facilities and sanitation. Inspections help ensure the health and safety of visitors and residents while also protecting the environment for future generations to enjoy.
