County Attorney

Responsibilities & Services
The Laramie County Attorney is appointed by the Laramie County Board of County Commissioners.  The office represents the county in civil legal matters and represents the county elected officials in their official capacities.  The County Attorney also acts as the county risk manager.

 

** Criminal prosecutions are handled by the Laramie County District Attorney, who can be reached at 307-633-4360. **
