FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR OPPORTUNITIES

BECOMING AN INSTRUCTOR

Laramie County Shooting Sports Complex is dedicated to educating shooters on the safe use of firearms for recreational shooting and protection. Thanks to certified instructors, like you, the Laramie County Shooting Sports Complex is able to offer a variety of courses for all levels of shooters within the community.

Our goal is to offer classes frequently, with flexibility of hours, while targeting the many needs of the community.

Desired Courses Include: Basic & advanced pistol, rifle, & shotgun; air guns; metallic cartridge & shotgun shell reloading; safety inside & outside the home; all varieties of recreational & competition shooting; children's programs; women's programs; self-defense; archery; gun collecting & care; gunsmithing; hunter safety; gun laws; etc.

INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM

Instructors must:

  • Be members of Laramie County Shooting Sports Complex
  • Be certified as an instructor by a nationally recognized organization
  • Provide proof of required insurance
  • Apply & be approved
  • Complete facility rental agreement
  • Follow all Laramie County Shooting Sports Complex Rules & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Pay applicable facility rental fees & lane fees
