Laramie County Planning and Development has recently been made aware of a letter being circulated to County Residents regarding the newly proposed draft of the Laramie County Land Use Regulations (LCLUR). Please be advised that the vast majority of the content outlined in the letter is verifiably inaccurate. Given the extreme amount of inquiries made by residents, Planning thought it prudent to provide this memorandum outlining the glaring inaccuracies of the document itself. Please also be reminded that Laramie County has not yet begun the statutory adoption process as the entire intent of providing this preliminary draft was to get feedback and incorporate public suggestions into the draft. Below in red font is Laramie County’s response to the allegations (black and bold font) made by those who drafted the document.
