Biography
Brian was born and raised in Northern Illinois. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls in 1982 and moved to Wyoming in 1984. He started his graduate program at the University of Wyoming in 1985 and moved to Cheyenne in 1987 to serve as the Herdsman for the USDA High Plains Grassland Research Station.
He served the Laramie County Conservation District for eighteen years (Six years as staff member and 12 on the Board of Supervisors).
He served the State of Wyoming for 24 years with the Department of Agriculture and then with the Department of Environmental Quality.
He has served the county as a member of the Laramie County Recreation Board, Cheyenne/Laramie County Planning Commission and the Laramie County groundwater Control Area Working Group.
Brian also served as Chairman of the Laramie County Republican Party in 2000 and has been a Precinct Committeeman for 28 years.
He and his wife Kim live West of Cheyenne with a number of horses, goats, cattle and chickens.
