How to Vote

Vote at Home (Absentee)

1. VOTE AT HOME

Skip the lines, bad weather, and vote in the convenience of your home.  Registered voters can request an absentee ballot each election year, beginning Jan 1.  Absentee ballots cannot be requested on the day of the election.  To request a ballot, visit or call our office 307-633-4242, or email election@laramiecountywy.gov (Subject: Absentee your name).  Give us the name under which you are registered to vote, date of birth, your residence and mailing address, email/phone contact and for the Primary election, the political party with which you are registered. Allow 7-10 days for your ballot to arrive and another 7-10 days for it to be returned to us.

Make your vote count.  Follow the instructions that come with your ballot. Sign the affidavit on the envelope.  Return it by mail, deliver it to our office, or use our convenient 24/7, secure ballot depository (drop box), located outside the Laramie County Governmental Complex on Carey Ave, between 19th & 20th St. Ballots arriving after the deadline of 7 pm on Election Day will not be counted.
