The Laramie County Clerk’s office received numerous reports from voters yesterday about emails stating that their voter registration must be updated immediately, or it will be canceled. The emails instruct the recipient to click on links to update personal information.
These emails are not from the Laramie County Clerk’s office or from any official election office. Voters are advised not to click on these links. To check your registration status, contact the Clerk’s office at 633-4242 or write election@laramiecountywy.gov. Beware of emails that ask you to click links to update your voter registration.
