More than 15,000 Laramie County voters were removed from the voter registry in February 2023. This is because state law requires county clerks to annually purge and update the registry no later than the 15th day of February each year. Most voters are removed from the registry because they did not vote in the last general election. Those who have been removed must re-register to participate in this year’s elections.
