This afternoon, the Laramie County Commissioners received the linked statement from Cheyenne Frontier Days and Accel Entertainment. We are aware that there is substantial interest in this matter, which is currently scheduled as Item 13 on tomorrow’s agenda. It is the intention of the Commission to honor the request of the applicant and postpone the matter. Those wishing to listen in to the matter may do so via zoom at the link available on our Laramie County Government website. We will not be taking public comment on the issue at tomorrow’s meeting.
Laramie County is located in the southeast corner of Wyoming and shares a border with Nebraska to the east and Colorado to the south. It is at the crossroads of two major interstate highways and two major railroads. Residents enjoy a stable, growing economy, a high-quality of life, excellent educational system and a low tax structure. Laramie County ranks first in population and fifteenth in area when compared to the other twenty-two counties in Wyoming.
